Joye's Place Clothing Closet

Joye's Place Clothing Closet is closed until further notice.

Unfortunately we will also not be able to take donations while closed.

Please check the calendar for date of opening.

Joye's Place Clothing Closet is a long standing mission here at St. Paul's.  The smaller building towards the Cocoplum Waterway houses a place where donated clothing is collected, checked, sorted and stacked carefully to assist our neighbors and residents of North Port in need of clothing.

Clothing such as shorts, pants, shirts, outerwear, underwear, and accessories for men, women, and children are accepted.  We can not accept items other than clothing, and try our best to make sure what is presented is clean and repaired before putting it out.

Since this is a community outreach, the community is invited to come and take what you need, but we also invite you to donate clothing only.  The office is open to receive donations Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  Please make sure the donations are in bags or boxes.

Anyone can sign up to help!!  And help is always needed!

Who's Who

Calling all congregants who may have talent in being fun!!  That's right-we need someone who would like to help find fun things to do every month.  A trip to the movies?  A trip to a baseball game? MahJong here in Fellowship Hall?  Please contact the office if this is you, we want to talk to you!

Would you like to help in some way?  We have many Outreach programs.  In our community, and out in the world.  Have you thought "Maybe I could help?"  Serving does not always mean food.  Bring can goods and other non-perishables to Communion Sunday for the Salvation Army in North Port is one way.  Communion Sunday is the first Sunday of each month.  There is a collection crate in the Narthex and it goes directly to the Salvation Army!

We also need help with general maintenance.  Does the walkway need sweeping?   When we have Fellowship following the service, do the tables need cleaning?  Any help is always appreciated!!
